科層組織 (bureauacracy)

是西方資本主義工業社會中的一個普遍的組織形式。組織結構特性有分工 (division of labor)、權威層級 (hierarchy of authority) 、成文的規則和規定 (written rules and regulations)、非私人性 (impersonality)、技術品質為基礎的聘僱法則 (employment based on technical qualification)。
