間腦(Diencephalon)

Diencephalon的構造，圍繞第三腦室而成。Thalamus後上方為Epithalamus；前下方內部為Hypothalamus。正下方為Subthalamus(左右成對)，屬於Basal ganalion。

可分為三部分：
A. 視丘(thalamus)：為間腦內最大構造，左右成對
B. 下視丘(hypothalamus)：緊靠在第三腦室底部，含有乳頭狀體(mammillary body)，左右成對
C. 上視丘(epithalamus)：位於視丘頂端，含有松果體(Pineal body)及韁核(habenular nuclei)，只有單一顆
