一、Lauge-Hansen classification of ankle fracture

二、Weber and muller AO classification
此分類法比Lauge-Hansen classification好也較簡單，是以骨折位置在韌帶聯合(syndesmosis)的相對位置上來區分。
A：骨折處在syndesmosis之下
B：骨折處在syndesmosis之間
C：骨折處在syndesmosis之上

三、Fixation of the medial malleolus fracture：在ankle fracture，通常會在malleolus fractures做：
1. A為使用一支大的screw
2. B為使用兩支screw
3. C為使用tension band wire，有時碎片小，用這比較好。
4. D為在fibula上做plate fixation，再打syndesmosis screw，手術後用石膏固定，8~10周syndesmosis screw後要拿掉不然會斷在裡面
四、Pilon fracture是指tibia骨折線延續到關節面，分成：
1. Type1：無位移(non-displaced)
2. Type2：中度粉碎(moderate comminuted)
3. Type3：粉碎(comminuted)

＊Type1沒有移位，可以不用開刀，打石膏固定就好。
＊Type2、type3須要先把fibula對好，再把distal tibia固定。
